Rebuilding the Spiritual Wall
Nehemiah was living in Jewish exile when he learned of the sad condition of his hometown of Jerusalem. The gates of the city had been burned and the walls had been broken down. He prayed to God and made a request of King Artaxerxes, “I’d like to go back to Jerusalem and rebuild her walls.” Nehemiah’s prayer and request were honored and the rest of the story is history. Starting the second Sunday of January and extending into February 2006 Pastor Frank led us through the rest of this great Old Testament story.
