The purpose of our Women's Ministry is to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of women at First Baptist Nashville and within our community. This ministry is designed to encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen intimate friendships with other women, and to provide opportunities to serve and reach our community for Christ.

First Women’s Dinner God not only promises us that He will fill our cup but that He will fill it to overflowing. As women, there are so many people and activities that we pour our hearts and lives into, that sometimes we are running on empty. It is essential to take time and allow God to fill our cup with His Word and dear friends who understand. First Women invites you to come February 16 at 6:00 p.m. to a casual evening of food, fellowship and the Word. Mark your calendars now and save the date. “NOT Ashamed!” is the theme for this year’s Missions Get-Together and Connection in Gatlinburg, March 23 – 25. It will be held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, which is just down the street from the Clarion where we already have convenient hotel reservations. This is an event for all our women and also our girls in grades 7 – 12. It begins at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 23, and concludes after the worship service on Sunday morning, February 25. Registration fee is $50, which is paid by our WMU. Registration is due by March 2. Cost for those going will be two nights’ lodging plus several meals.
