Advent 2005
The season of Advent is just around the corner and that means that there will be special worship opportunities for everyone. Please take note of the following Advent services and invite someone to join you for worship in December.
Hanging of the Green
December 4 at 6:00 p.m.
First Baptist Nashville’s Choirs gather to help us decorate our sanctuary and welcome the season of Advent once again!
Service of Remembrance and Hope
December 11 at 6:00 p.m.
The holidays are difficult for anyone who has ever experienced the death of a loved one. This service offers support from others in your church family as we join to remember those we loved who are no longer with us.
Carol-Candlelight Service
December 18 at 6:00 p.m.
The Nashville String Machine joins our Sanctuary Choir for the best music of the season. This year’s concert holds a surprise for all those in attendance. A holiday reception follows in Fellowship Hall.
Communion on Christmas Eve
December 24 5:00 p.m.
Candles, Carols, Communion, and Children in a First Baptist Nashville tradition!
Christmas Day Worship Celebration
December 25 at 10:30 a.m.
Christmas is on Sunday this year and we will gather for worship only (no Sunday School) on this day.
