First Baptist Nashville Students are invited to attend “Date Night” on Wednesday, August 3, at 6 p.m. in the Youth Room. Everyone will enjoy dinner together and a concert by James Tealy. We are holding monthly meetings for women of all ages to create handcrafted items that will spread God’s redeeming message throughout the world. We’ll make evangelism dolls for local and world missions and create yarn-covered crosses. All skill levels are invited to come for an hour, or the entire time.

Sunday School teachers and leaders, Sunday School Advancement Day is Sunday, September 4. This is the first day our new Sunday morning Bible classes go into effect! It’s an exciting day! Be ready and prayerful for your new students and contact us for needs you may have! Please contact your new students in advance of September 4, as well as the parents of your children to help welcome and transition them smoothly.

Students, join us at the 2011 Fall Retreat! This retreat is a time for all students in 7 – 12 gradse to come together for a weekend of God encounters, fun, and fellowship together at the Deer Run Retreat Center. Students will arrive back at the church on the morning of October16 in time for worship. Keep your eyes open for more details!
