July & August | Thursday Nights | 7 – 9 p.m. | Rec Center
Get those athletic shoes on, grab your water bottle and head on over to the Rec Center on Thursday nights for basketball or volleyball. Wes Magill is heading up a group of church members who want some gym time in the evenings. We’ll be alternating weeks between basketball and volleyball. Come join your church friends for some healthy competition! Also, bring a friend along who needs to know First Baptist Nashville is a great place to be.
Watch for moving trucks and newcomers in your neighborhood! Help us welcome newcomers with a welcome packet from your church, a good warm greeting from you, an invitation to attend Bible study and worship with you at First Baptist Nashville, and perhaps a homemade cake or pie! Find welcome packets in the Foyer near the Sanctuary entrance.
Make a difference—encourage someone toward Jesus Christ.

Welcome Bradfords! The Bradfords will reside in our missionary residence from July 6 through January 2012. Scott and Julie Bradford along with their three children, Andrew (18), Miranda (16), and Corrine (14), have been serving with the International Mission Board (IMB) for nearly 10 years.
During their tenure in West Africa, Scott served initially as a Business Facilitator for nearly two years before moving to Church Planting among the Fulakunda people for six years. After about five years as church planter, Scott and Julie divided their time and served as both church planters and church planting trainers for the West African Region. Over the past two years, Scott has assumed the role of Cluster Strategy Leader for the Central Sahel Cluster. This region of Africa includes nine countries and nearly 300 million people and 1,100 people groups. Scott and Julie work hand in hand leading, training and encouraging IMB missionaries.
