The members of the Family Enrichment Committee represent all kinds of families and are seeking ways to improve and enhance First Baptist Nashville’s support and ministry to families. During May, parents and other interested people are invited to participate in a survey to help the committee know more about the wants and needs of families in our church. All answers will be kept confidential.
On May 15 and 22, survey forms will be available in targeted Sunday School departments, in the Preschool Suite, at the Children’s Sunday School Greeter Desk, and in the foyer after worship. Once completed, return them to the mailbox of Shannon Meadors. In addition, an electronic version of the form may be completed online.

The May collection is for non-perishable food that will be taken to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Nashville. For one in six Americans, hunger is a reality. We are in contact with people affected by hunger, even though we might not be aware of it. Second Harvest Food Bank distributes food to our community through more than 400 not-for-profit agencies in 46 counties in Middle Tennessee. Their partners include food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, child care facilities, senior centers, group homes, and youth enrichment programs.
