Men’s Softball
Our Men’s Slowpitch Softball team plays in a Metro Church League on Tuesday nights at 7:00. The games are at Shelby Park, not far from downtown Nashville. Players must be sixteen and over.
The season runs from early April through mid-July. John Galloway is the coach, phone 855–2918 (Home) or 429–9729 (Cell). Sign up in the church foyer after worship for the remainder of March, contact the coach or the Recreation Office at 664–6050.
Women’s Softball
Our Women’s Slowpitch Softball team plays in a Williamson County Church League on Thursday nights. Starting times vary. The games are at Crockett School Park off Concord Road in Brentwood.
The season begins in April and ends in July. Hope Cheney is the coach, phone 351–0510 (Work) or 599–2288 (Home). Sign up in the church foyer after worship during March, contact the coach or the Recreation Office at 664–6050 if you would like to play.
Golf
The Ministry of Recreation sponsors several golf outings at various local golf courses throughout the spring and summer. Both men and women golfers participate in the scramble format. Prizes are given for the winning team, plus individual prizes for closest to the hole (par 3), longest drive, and straightest drive. Kevin McGhee, chairman of our Recreation Committee is in charge of scheduling our outings.

Saturday, June 10 - Pinecreek, Mt. Juliet
Saturday, July 15 - Champions Run, Eagleville
August 26 - Overnight trip to Alabama to play Robert Trent Jones courses.
