Enjoy great conversation, browse our silent auction, and experience an elegant atmosphere while appreciating outstanding musical selections from First Baptist Nashville musicians and our very special guest, Jazzmin, from the Belmont University School of Music. Proceeds benefit the students’ 2012 Youth Choir Mission Tour to Washington, D.C., this summer.
Jazzmin is Belmont University’s DownBeat award winning, jazz vocal ensemble. It is an auditioned 12-member mixed vocal jazz ensemble which attracts top vocal and instrumental musicians from Belmont’s premier commercial music program. They perform a diversity of jazz literature, ranging from traditional to contemporary genres. Jazzmin performs regularly on Belmont’s campus and in the Nashville community, including features on WPLN’s Live in Studio C and in the Murfreesboro Jazz Festival, as well as in major cities across America.
