The Deacon Ordination Council will be held November 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel. All ordained deacons and ministers from First Baptist Nashville, along with family members of the new deacon ordinands, are welcome to participate. The November Deacons Meeting will follow.
The following persons were elected to serve four-year terms as deacons beginning January 1, 2012: Ronnie Boling, Louis Boyte, Jerry Brown, Jerry Burden, Brad Dunn, Tom Hellams, James Kennon, Bill Leach, Jim Lowry, David Meriwether, James Porch, Lisa Pruitt, Tommy Scudder, Wes Turner, and Brandon Walker.
We are grateful for these who will serve our church in the coming years and express appreciation to all who were willing to be considered for election. Please be in prayer for our new deacons!
