We had fun around every corner in the big city during VBS 2011: LifeWay's Big Apple Adventure! Our tour guides and tourists connected faith and life through Bible study, crafts, missions, snack, recreation and music. This year's motto was "Hear it! Believe it! Connect it!" with Romans 10:17 as our theme Bible verse. Our Bible stories focused on Jesus' connection with people as He taught about faith, love, trust, others and life. continue reading »
Music Arts Camp is a fun-filled week of hands-on music and arts activities for children who have completed grades one - six. Students will have the opportunity to choose a music focus group in the mornings and an arts focus group on the afternoon. All campers will learn and present a musical, explore five different instrumental groups, experience Bible study designed especially for the musical, and fellowship in action-packed recreation and snack. continue reading »
Join us as our group of 68 students and sponsors share from their experiences while on Mission for God in San Diego, California, this summer. Our Youth Choir will also sing a number of songs, which were included as a part of our concert tour repertoire. We ministered through leading Vacation Bible School with First Baptist Clairemont, of San Diego; Set Free Ministries in El Cajon, California; Myanmar Community Church, a Burmese congregation; and Iglesia Alpha y Omega (Alpha and Omega Church), a Hispanic congregation. Our Youth Choir also presented concerts and shared the love of Christ in various civic venues, worked in the San Diego Food Bank, provided ministry to the homeless, and sang the National Anthem at a San Diego Padres Baseball Game. continue reading »
