Music Ministry Summer Intern

We are so very fortunate to have James Cheesman serving as an intern in our Church Music Ministry this summer. Our Intern Program is a ministry which invests in the lives of future career servant-ministers by providing them hands-on experience with daily church ministry operations and interaction with other professional leaders while serving in meaningful, beneficial ways which positively impact the ministries of First Baptist Nashville.

Mr. Cheesman, age 20, is a Senior Church Music Major at Baylor University with a Keyboard Concentration and a Religion Minor. James was the Valedictorian of his Cuero, Texas, senior class and is a National Merit Scholar. He was a Texas All-State French Horn player and has received numerous honors for his musical abilities and academic prowess. His professors at Baylor highly commend him to us and have indicated he is one of their finest students. James currently serves as part-time Minister of Music at First Baptist Church, Marlin, Texas.
