Summer is here and with it comes a thousand ways to serve the Lord and grow in your faith. I hope you will join me in making the Summer of 2011 the summer you put down a few new roots in your spiritual life. You can do this by participating in a number of First Baptist Nashville's service and mission opportunities listed in this copy of the Evangel. Turn off the TV and read a few good books this summer. Volunteer. Find a place to worship while you vacation, and do everything you can to be present at First Baptist Nashville this summer when you are home. It will be worth it! continue reading »
