It has been our distinct pleasure to experience the wonderful gifts of music God has given Vicki Wright to share with our congregation for the past six years. Vicki is a consummate musician, creative genius, and along with her sensitive spirit has immensely blessed us in our worship and praise to the Lord. She has been working seven days a week for the past year between her position with the Oak Hill School and her responsibilities here at First Baptist Nashville.
Mrs. Wright, along with the encouragement of her family, felt it was time for her to reclaim some moments for personal respite and thus has tendered her resignation as our Church Organist.
We are delighted she will continue to make musical contributions in ministry through our church by singing in the alto section of our Sanctuary Choir, supplying at the organ, and lending her accompanying skills to soloists and ensembles from time to time.
