New Tools for Engaging Others in Faith...

We welcome Jennifer Tramel on church staff!
Jennifer_Tramel.jpgJennifer began employment in July and has done an outstanding job. Jennifer is our Communications Director, a full-time position. You may reach her at jennifer.tramel@firstbaptistnashville.org or 615.664.6006.
What will Jennifer help with? She is the leader of our communications efforts--developing the monthly Evangel; serving as our point person and clearing office for church communications; developing and producing the weekly Midweekly; maintaining and developing our church electronic presence through the use of firstbaptistnashville.org, our Facebook fan page at facebook.com/firstbaptistnashville, and our YouTube presence at youtube.com/firstbaptistnash; and assisting the Communications Committee and me in developing the best public relations programs possible! Read on for tangible evidences of our new outreach and community presence.

New Homeowner and Business Outreach
September marks the beginning of outreach to new homeowners having recently purchased a home or started a business within a four mile radius from First Baptist Nashville. We mail a welcome postcard to each new homeowner, including an offer for one parking pass to a Bridgestone Arena event other than Predator games.

Predator Game Outreach
Nashville Predators Logo.pngNashville Predator season begins soon, and one of our outreach efforts is to give a pair of Predator tickets and free parking for several of the games this season. We will make these giveaways through a local radio station. The recipient of each pair of tickets will also be joined by a staff member seated nearby, to welcome, share, assist, and get to know. It's yet another Building Bridges outreach tool.

Keep your eyes open for newcomers--we expect these tools will help us reach additional first-time guests, and you help by inviting friends, welcoming newcomers, and assisting people on campus you do not yet know. Be friendly. Offer your assistance. Encourage others with the great Christian and First Baptist Nashville hospitality you live out.
