RA Post Office
Do you have fellow FBC members on your Christmas card list? Bring your Christmas cards for church family and friends to the designated drop box in the foyer, and let the RAs take care of the rest! Please address each card with the recipient's first and last name. Donate the money that you would otherwise spend on postage to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. FBC's goal for the 2009 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is $60,000. The post office opens December 2 and will remain in place throughout December.
GA Missions Dinner
On Wednesday, December 16, during our fellowship supper, the GAs will be waiting tables to raise money for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Please make a special effort to dine with FBC from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. that night. There will be "tip" boxes on the tables for diners to donate money for Lottie Moon. The girls will collect the boxes at 6:00 p.m. and count the offering.
NBA Toy Store
Nashville Baptist Association has a great tradition of providing toys and other gifts each year for families in East Nashville who cannot afford Christmas presents. Each family that comes to the Toy Store will also hear the Good News of Jesus. The RAs will be putting collection boxes for toy donations at the three main entrances on November 29. The boxes will remain in place until December 2. Please donate a toy and make a difference in a child's life on Christmas morning! Look for details in the Midweekly.
