When you have a minute, stop by the recreation center and have a look at the new plaque honoring the First Baptist Women's Softball team. The team finished the season first in the league against five other church teams in Williamson County.
It is my hope that this year's team was not only successful on the softball field but also served as a witness for God and a representive of First Baptist Church. The team began each game with a devotion and ended each with prayer. As the season closes, I'd like to think that beyond playing a game each week, we had an opportunity to plant a seed that will thrive for many seasons
to come.
