This year, 14 children participated in First Baptist's Church Bible Drill. The drill included four sections with six calls in each section: finding Bible books, finding key passages, quoting verses from memory, and completing verses. Those who made 12 or fewer mistakes qualified for the Association Bible Drill, which was held April 5 at Tulip Grove Baptist Church. Children who made 8 or fewer mistakes at the Association Drill have qualified for the State Bible Drill on April 25 at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church.
Each of our 14 children passed the church drill and qualified for the associational event. These drillers included Will Boling, Caleb Bunn, Lora Bunn, Mackenzie Carris, Blake Cullen, Kaylee Dixon, Mitchell Dunn, Caroline Lankford, Joe Schremmer, Mandy Schremmer, Carter Tune, Ethan Tune, Mary Katherine Wheeler, and Mary Beth White.
This year's Bible Drill teachers include Mary Bunn, Bill Emeott, Letty Gossett, Andrea Hultman, and Pam Carris.
