In order to help parents monitor who and what their children are exposed to on the Internet, the Metro Nashville Public Schools Community Career Center and First Baptist Nashville will be hosting a free Internet safety workshop designed specifically for parents. How to use blocking/spy software, navigating MySpace and other social sites, instant message literacy and signs that a child may be involved in an improper online relationship are among the topics that will be discussed
