As happy and joyous as the holidays are for many people, they can also be filled with emotions of grief and sadness for those who have experienced the death of a loved one or friend. This is especially true for those who are walking this journey for the first time. Being surrounded by caring friends and others who have experienced similar life losses helps ease the hurts. We borrow encouragement from one another and find ways to move forward.
Our Service of Remembrance and Hope is open to members of First Baptist Nashville and friends who would like to join us to light a candle in remembrance of those we loved and lost. We'll find comfort in the reading of Scripture, hearing the names of those we loved, and sharing a bond that unites us in hope.
