There are only a few days left to nominate those you would like to see serving in our church as deacons for 2009. The process ends Sunday, September 14, at 10:30 A.M.
Deacons should be encouragers, peacemakers, and faithful participants in the church's ministries and at all times mindful of the well-being of the church. They should be willing to engage in the church's proclaiming, caring and leading ministries. Church members are encouraged to prayerfully select those you believe demonstrate these servant-leader qualities.
You may nominate from 1 to 15 persons. Those who are nominated and then elected will serve a four-year term beginning January 1, 2009.
Eligibility information along with nomination forms and ballot boxes are available in several locations around the church. If you used the online nomination process that was provided please do not submit a paper nomination.
