Impact Others

You've identified a few friends on your IMPACT card for whom you are praying -- friends who do not know Christ or do not have a church family. You've been longing to tell these friends about Jesus Christ. Now is the time to invite them to Bible study and worship. Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11, is a great day to bring guests. On Mother's Day, we will give away a copy of Becoming a Woman of Purpose by Cynthia Heald, to all women present who simply complete and return a registration form. This fine devotional book will be an encouragement to each woman who receives and reads it. Ask God today, "Who can I invite to be my guest for Mother's Day, so they may hear the Gospel and respond to Jesus Christ?" Then, invite.
Colossians 3:23 says, "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men." David Jeremiah, in Signs of Life, reminds us that a life sign for believers is when others see Jesus in us. In order to better reflect Jesus, begin each day by rededicating yourself to Him and asking Him to guide your thoughts, words, and actions. Strive to maintain a joyful attitude daily. As a Christian, admit failure when it occurs and apologize. Each day you will continue to grow as a believer through Bible study, prayer, trusting and obeying.
I'm praying for you today, that you will Impact someone for Jesus Christ and grow in your faith in Christ. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."
