What Happens Next?

Artists have been called, entry forms are arriving, patrons are being solicited, and volunteers are signing up. In the next few weeks art will begin to arrive and be displayed in our foyer. We as a church family will open our doors to the community, encouraging all to view and purchase works of art inspired by the 23rd Psalm. Are you ready? It all sounds great, but...What happens next?
Get Involved: What happens next is that the family of First Baptist Nashville gets involved. Have you encouraged an artist friend to enter the festival? Have you entered the festival yourself? Have you thought about where you might serve as a volunteer? Have you invited friends, co-workers, and neighbors to attend the festival?
Prepare: What happens next is that the family of First Baptist Nashville asks God to prepare our hearts. Prepare us to welcome the artists who have allowed the God of Creation to work through them. Prepare us to welcome those who come through our doors seeking art that is an expression of their faith. Prepare us to welcome those who come through our doors simply to see just what this arts festival is all about.
Reach out: What happens next is we reach out to our downtown neighbors and build a bridge to those who might not otherwise come through our doors. Are you ready?

April 25-27 - Art Festival
April 27 - Morning worship with award-winning songwriter/recording artist Kyle Matthews
