Hot summer days call for down time to cool off or just rest a bit with a good book. Take your choice from these new titles or many others:
It’s How You Play the Game, the powerful sports moments that taught lasting values in America’s finest by Brian Kilmeade, cohost of Fox News Fox & Friends. Ninety-one outstanding athletes share events that changed their lives and motivated them to succeed. A great book for the sports lover—male or female, young or old!
Restoring Order to Your Home by Vicki Norris is full of information and inspiration to get your home organized! This book is perfect for those who cannot get the car in the garage, find their favorite bracelet, or refuse to have company because their guestroom is basically a storage container!
Imperfect Presidents, tales of misadventures and triumph by Jim Cullen reveals some of the mistakes of twelve United States Presidents from George Washington to George W. Bush. In many situations they broke the rules and got caught...or not. Some accounts are amusing while others could have been disasters. History buffs will like this one!
Sunrise, the first in a new series of fiction by Karen Kingsbury, tells the story of a much anticipated wedding that opens the door for the Baxter family and all its members to proceed with their exciting lifestyles involving three generations. (Be sure to read the Firstborn series first if you can get them!) Kingsbury was recently featured in an interview in HomeLife, written by our own Joy Fisher.
The church library is open Sundays and Wednesdays and contains materials for all ages! Come see us, take a break...and READ!
