Churchwide Picnic is June 3

One of the greatest events in our church year is our annual picnic. It is held at the beautiful Joe C. Davis YMCA camp on Percy Priest Lake east of Nashville. We have the facility to ourselves for the first Sunday afternoon in June. It will be fully staffed with trained YMCA folks who are in charge of the many activities at the camp. These include horseback riding, beach and water slides, Alpine climbing, Zip line, canoes, pontoon boats, fabulous swimming pool, plus an air-conditioned lodge, all set in a lovely wooded area beside the lake. In addition to these, there are many activities designed especially for children.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, lemonade, snow cones, and a tent for homemade desserts that YOU bring (a highlight of the picnic) are all part of the festivities!

Activities begin at 3:00 p.m. As the sun drops below the tops of the tall trees we will have music and worship, including our Lord’s Supper service, in the grassy area between the lodge and the lake. This time together in worship is not to be missed!
