The children’s choirs are finishing a year of making music that certainly supports the year-long theme of HERE BY DESIGN. Choir members don’t just happen to be on the fourth floor at 5:25 every Wednesday; they arrive at choir BY DESIGN—the design of the church program to provide a Christian music education ministry that is developmentally ap-propriate; the design of parents and caregivers looking for a music organization that teaches children how to worship God through music; the design of caring, prepared leaders who love the children; the design of the child who is looking for a safe learning environment that teaches them and lifts them up. The year-end program will be on May 16 and will give the children an opportunity to show the church what they have learned this year about design in music, in worship service preparation, in accompanying on instruments, and in the design to participate in corporate worship and to “sing unto the Lord a new song.” We hope to see you in the Sanctuary at 6:10 P.M.
