As believers, our task is to use the talents and abilities God has given us to spread the good news of His love to those with whom we come in contact. We have heard His call and now we must Live the Call. This is our emphasis in WMU for the next two years as we learn what it means to be the presence of Christ in our World.
“Walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:10).
Walking worthy of the Lord seems like an impossible task, but we know that even as He has called each of us to different areas of service, God will also give each of us the strength to carry out His mission.
WMU equips individuals to understand, embrace, and live the mission of God. WMU members are learning more about growing, preserving, and celebrating God’s call on our lives. WMU is not a one-size-fits-all organization and we have a place for everyone. If you are not already involved in the WMU organization at FBC, we need you. Please contact us and let us help you find your place in WMU so you, too, can Discover the Joy of Missions.
