Habitat for Humanity
PUBLISHED IN THE EVANGEL // August 28, 2006by Larry Swift, FBC member
FBC is joining Hermitage Hills United Methodist Church and US Bank in building a house in Providence Park, located between Harding Place and Interstate 24. It will be built on four consecutive weekends beginning September 30 - October 1.
Our church is responsible for the work on four days:
Saturday, October 7
Sunday, October 8
Saturday, October 21
Sunday, October 22
We need 25 - 30 workers for each of these four days (no split shifts). The workdays begin promptly at 7:00 a.m. and wrap up around 4:30 p.m. If you would like to help, sign-ups will begin on Sunday, September 10, in the foyer of the church. If you have questions, please contact Wilburn Honeycutt (swh@honeycuttengineering.com) or Mike White (mike.white@lifeway.com).
In addition to construction workers, we are responsible for providing breakfast, lunch, snacks, and water for all the workers. If you would like to help with foodÑ (purchase, prepare, and/or serve), contact Sherri Greer (sherrigreer@comcast.net) or Angela White (whitex3@bellsouth.net) or stop by the sign-up table on September 10.
