They laugh. They cry. They smile, giggle and coo. They reach, crawl, stand and clap. Eventually, they walk and talk. And run. They’re curious and they’re precious … to you and to God.
At First Baptist Nashville, we believe children are one of God’s greatest blessings to all of us. Keeping your young child busy and active, learning about God’s love, playing and singing in a safe environment is important to all of us.
That’s why we take special care with our offerings for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Your child will be in safe hands while you participate in Sunday morning, Sunday evening and midweek church activities, or even during the workday while you’re at the office.
Sunday morning Bible study classes, taught at an age-appropriate level are available for preschool-aged children and led by adults that are gifted and trained to teach children. Children ages 3-5 meet in classrooms on the 3rd floor. Those younger than 3 meet in the Nursery Suite in Room 270.
While parents and grandparents attend Sunday morning Bible studies and worship service, Sunday night Bible study, and Wednesday night prayer service, toddlers and preschoolers sing, clap, move, and laugh as they are taught Bible stories and Biblical principles through songs, games, art, and play.
