During the summer months, children at First Baptist Nashville have the ability to participate in a wide variety of activities, from VBS to trips to music and beyond!
A Summer Preview Splash Party | Wednesday, May 20 | 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. | Patio
June 15 – 19 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. | Preschool 4 – Grade 6 (entering K – Grade 7 August 2015)
This summer at First, kids will journey through uncharted territory where they will begin to understand that obedience to God can lead them beyond the expected. So, toss the map, stick close to your guide, and prepare to listen for God’s direction in this journey that is unknown to us, but known by Him. Our theme verse will be Isaiah 30:21, “And whenever you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear this command behind you: ‘This is the way. Walk in it.’” With amazing Bible study teachers to lead the trek, kids will learn this truth through crafts, music, snacks, and mega jumps at rec. VBS is always free. Invite your friends on the journey – this is a can’t miss summer adventure!

As the summer draws to a close, we hold a Back-to-School Blast event to help parents and students prepare for the upcoming school year at First Baptist Nashville. Kids can learn about their new Bible Study teachers, rooms, and curriculum. We also have a time of “blessing of the backpacks” in which our church family gathers together to pray over the backpacks – and the school years – of our students.
